"Arthritis and the Older Adult"by Gisela Koufus, CE Provider
5 credit hours

This program is designed to explore arthritis, some common types of arthritis, how arthritis affects older adults, and the impact it has on their quality of life. Treatments, management, and nursing interventions are discussed. Patient education designed to promote and maintain independence with activities of daily living is explored. A brief discussion of quackery related to arthritis "cures" is included.
